I’m shooting with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III, a Leica V-Lux 1, and my iPhone X.
It’s hard to choose, but I choose my Canon 24-70mm 1:2.8 USM for its versatility.

Once again it’s hard to choose, maybe the first photo I took when I started learning photography. It’s not technically perfect, I can see that now. But it will be forever in my heart and memories. It’s a portrait of two kids in a remote place in Timor-Leste, the country I lived for almost 10 years. Their expressions and the cross around the boy’s neck make this photo a portrait of the country.

People in their natural environment.
I always say it’s the next one. I can´t really choose. I love all the places I’ve been, in almost all continents.

I´ll choose Morocco, one of the last countries I’ve visited and gave me a hand full of great photos!
If money were no object where would you travel to and why?
I’d travel the world, absolutely! There are so many places I wish to visit! But Latin America, India, and China, if I had to choose for a start!

Next year I will be back to Chiang Mai, Thailand, where I’ll stay for around 6 months visiting a friend. From there we are thinking of traveling to Myanmar, Laos… and India! Hopefully, we’ll make it!
I’m a traveler, as often as I can. My advice as a traveler is: one should always be tolerant and respect other cultures and mentalities. Don’t impose your views, don’t compare. When you travel, always consider yourself as a guest in someone’s place; and a guest should be respectful and considerate towards the host. Enjoy the places, the people in them, and be kind.

With my kids! I have two kids and they are my world. I’ve traveled with them since they were babies. And I keep traveling with them as often as possible. But they are in college and can´t travel often for that reason.
I love music, almost all genres. One of my favorite things is editing photography while I’m listening to music. I wish I could have learned to play an instrument.

Cendrine Marrouat, a French-Canadian photographer and I just launched a new photography collective (www.fpointcollective.com). It’s a project we cherish a lot and in it, we will feature some photographers and photography, based on themes. We are present in social media, and it will be exciting to see it grow!
Favorite travel or photography accessory?
My favorite lenses: The 24-70mm I’ve told you about, and also my Canon 16-35mm 1:2.8, Canon 50mm 1:1.4, and 85mm 1:1.8.
If you were shipwrecked on an island but had all your human needs (food, water, clothing) what two items would you take with you?
My photography gear, of course!
