Today we bring you Traci Passero and her stunning imagery. We love the bright pop of colors in her work. Traci shoots all of her images on her iPhone! She is an incredible example of “it is the photographer, not the camera that makes the picture.” You can find her on IG as @tangotraci.
I’ve used the Olloclip fish eye and wide angle lenses but generally, just stick with the iPhone XS built in.
Yosemite, Hong Kong, Utah, NYC, New Mexico, Palm Springs and back to Italy.
I think it’s important to add a bit of your own personality to your photography. For me, that means adding my favorite color red or shooting nature and architecture with an editorial style so I tell a little story.
ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Capturing beauty in the rhythms of nature, travel and flamenco.
My images mirror my explorative personality and honor my Mediterranean heritage. From local dance studio to beautiful destinations, I am eager to share everyday beauty and the colors of the cultures that inspire me.
While growing up I led a bit of a gypsy lifestyle, since my family didn’t stay in one place very long. I spent each summer away from my school friends in the Adirondack Mountains. When I wasn’t in school or spending time on the lake, I was studying piano.
I earned a degree in fashion design and marketing and then worked a few years as a flight attendant to satisfy my need to travel and experience other cultures before settling into my career in fashion marketing.
My early adventures and love for the Spanish and Italian culture introduced me to tango and flamenco dance, which I study to this day. I currently work in the beauty industry in San Francisco and when I’m not working or traveling, you will find me in a dance studio practicing choreography.
My creative background in design, music, and dance is tied to the colors, the rhythm, and the movement in nature and travel. It is a theme throughout my life and my photography is an extension of this.
