Glacier National Park, MT by @intothewild.wego
The United States is home to 61 areas that are designated National Parks. These parks offer up some of the most magnificent landscapes and wildlife. The parks are a photographers paradise! In addition to the parks, there are also 100’s of National Monuments, Recreation Areas, Preserves, and Historic Sites. The parks attract some 330,000,000 people a year! With the increased popularity of the parks, they are starting to show some wear and tear. There are many ways you can help support the parks. Here are a few of our favorite ways.
Donate or Visit-
You can make a donation in the name of a loved one, set up an estate plan, or become a monthly supporter.
When you visit the parks the entrance fees go towards keeping the parks up and running.
Volunteer –
The parks offer numerous volunteer opportunities, including an Artist in Residence program.
Buy Some Swag –
Here are a couple of our favorite shops that donate some of their proceeds to the parks – Parks Project and The Landmark Project

“National parks are the best idea we ever had. Absolutely American, absolutely democratic, they reflect us at our best rather than our worst.” – Wallace Stegner
